FIRM CHRONOLOGY

1928 Foundation of a fruit exploitation cooperative after an initiative by Eugen Immendörfer.
Eugen Immendörfer was the great grandfather of Jochen Bayer, the current managing director
1929 The cooperative was taken over by Eugen Immendörfer.
1930 Two years after the foundation, over 60,000 litres of sweet must had already been produced.
1939 Fruit exploitation in deep financial water. Christian Bayer invested the capital he had saved into the father-in-law’s business and subsequently, in a short time, took over the company. Trading under the name of Obstverwertung Bayer + Co.
1956 Hans-Jörg Bayer entered the family business.
1959 Martin Bayer entered the family business.
1966 Construction of a large industrial fruit plantation.
1972 The business was transferred to the three brothers Martin, Hans-Jörg und Ulrich Bayer. Bottling for the firm ‘Dittmeyer’ (Valensina).
1974 Bottling for the firm 'Vaihinger Fruchtsäfte'.
1976 Start of vegetable processing: Carrots, Beetroot, Celery and many other types.
1979 Death of the associate Ulrich Bayer.
1980 Bottling was stopped and as a result the company became solely a producer of interim goods. Pressing and processing of fruit juices. Production of apple juice made from non-plantation windfall fruit. Processing of bio products increased. Fruit distillery.
1987 Opening of a drinks warehouse in Heimerdingen - 'Heimerdinger Saftladen'.
Building of a plant near to Krakow (Poland). Trade in national / international raw goods, interim goods and concentrates started.
1992 Takeover of Wavita Fruchtsaft GmbH in Waren/Müritz by both of the associates, Martin Bayer and Hans-Jörg Bayer.
1995 Improvement and extension to the office building.
2001 Opening of drinks warehouses in Rutesheim and Weissach.
2002 Opening of an own concentrate, flavour und juice department.
2003 The withdrawal of Hans-Jörg Bayer as an associate and the entrance of Jochen Bayer into the company, son of Martin Bayer. Drinks warehouse relocation in Rutesheim. 75 year jubilee. Trade becomes a strategic business field:
